About the Opportunity

A prominent law firm with more than 400 attorneys and professionals is seeking an experienced Estate & Wealth Planning Paralegal to join its Charlotte, NC office.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of recent experience working as an Estate/Wealth Planning Paralegal within a law firm , with strong experience in estate administration and complex federal estate and gift tax returns for high-net-worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of estates and related legal matters.
• Prepare and assist with complex federal estate and gift tax returns.
• Support estate and wealth planning attorneys on high-net-worth client matters.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal and estate-related documentation.
• Coordinate and track multiple matters, deadlines, and outstanding tasks.
• Conduct research and assist with various estate planning and administration projects.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, financial professionals, and other parties.
• Maintain a strong understanding of applicable legal procedures and documentation.
• Work independently while managing multiple matters and priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent Estate & Wealth Planning Paralegal experience within a law firm.
• Prior experience with estate administration is required.
• Experience preparing complex federal estate and gift tax returns .
• Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals/families preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of legal documentation and estate-related processes.
