Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, tailoring therapy strategies to meet individual client needs through evidence-based practices.

• Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying current with mental health research to enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse populations, including teenagers, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your ability to build rapport and create a safe space for clients will enhance their therapeutic experience and contribute to positive treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a wide range of clients and families.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software and familiarity with Telehealth technologies.
