Candidates must hold an active Secret Clearance. Responsibilities Tier 1 maintenance of on-site ADCS systems and subsystems, including preventive and corrective maintenance and monitoring at on-site and remote locations. Terminate ADCS circuits at the node point-of-presence (POP). Report failures to the on-site government contract representative no later than the start of the next duty day. Coordinate system downtime requirements with CAOC/ADS “Comm Focal Point (CFP)”. Monitor on-site and remote locations. Perform additions, changes, relocations of ADCS equipment. Handle technical tasks and provide site support, including modification, movement, and installation of equipment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and interconnectivity issues. Operations and maintenance of communications/computer systems and networks. Install communications/computer systems per installation specifications. Troubleshoot and support communication systems/networks. Manage Cisco system support/maintenance, VMware ESXi system support/maintenance, Active Directory, Windows Server 2019, HBSS, ACAS, SQL, SolarWinds, and Splunk. Provide end‑user support and training on communication systems/networks. Administer network/cyber security policies and procedures. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology. Participate in special projects as required. Identify customer needs and maintain customer satisfaction. Perform additional duties such as Vehicle Monitor, Local Records Maintenance, Site Safety representative, when selected. Qualifications Active Secret Level security clearance (current). CompTIA IAT 8570 Level II (Security+ CE) certification or higher, or 8140 equivalent. AA/AS degree and 1–3 years of experience, or equivalent years in lieu of degree. Must be onsite at McChord AFB in Tacoma, Washington. Working Conditions 24/7, 365 mission support with shift work and weekends as required. Physical effort may be required handling equipment and boxes.
