Kitchen Production Manager – Elkins Park, PA

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 to start | Schedule: Great hours, daytime focus, Mon-Fri!

We’re hiring a hands-on Kitchen Production Manager to lead daily back-of-house operations for a high-volume food production facility in Elkins Park, PA. If you thrive in fast-paced kitchens, know how to scale recipes without cutting corners, and can motivate a team while working the line yourself, we want to talk.

What you’ll own

• Large-scale production: Plan, coordinate, and execute prep and cooking for high-volume output while maintaining quality, safety, and timing standards
• Recipe & spec adherence: Train staff on SOPs, monitor portioning, and ensure every batch meets exact recipe, yield, and presentation standards
• Team leadership: Schedule, supervise, and develop kitchen staff. Jump in to prep, cook, or expedite when needed — this is a working manager role
• Inventory & cost control: Manage ordering, receiving, storage, and waste to hit food cost targets
• Compliance: Uphold all ServSafe, HACCP, and Department of Health regulations. Keep the kitchen audit-ready daily

What you bring

• 3+ years in kitchen management or lead cook role with proven large-batch/central kitchen experience
• Deep understanding of recipe scaling, batch cooking, and production timelines
• ServSafe Manager certification preferred
• Strong leadership skills with a coach-first mindset and lead-by-example attitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in hot/cold environments
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred — you’ll be communicating with a diverse team
• Reliable transportation to Elkins Park, PA
