Embark on an impactful role supporting student success in the heart of Connecticut as a School Psychologist! A full-time opportunity is available at a vibrant middle school, with an immediate start, offering a dynamic environment focused on meaningful student and community engagement. This contract position is set to run through March 30, 2027, providing stability and the chance to make a lasting difference.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession of active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting
- Proficiency in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Lead and participate in PPT meetings, preparing detailed and timely reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Provide consultation, intervention, and counseling services to students as appropriate
- Ensure all practices align with federal, state, and district guidelines
Role Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Onsite at a dedicated middle school campus
- One opening, looking to fill as soon as possible
