Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Socorro, NM. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily skills following injury, illness, or disability while experiencing a new community.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.
• Ability to meet productivity requirement of 90% as specified by the client (preferred).
• Willingness to follow facility and company policies and procedures, including dress code of black scrubs and onsite presence to receive guaranteed hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience working with geriatric populations and common SNF diagnoses preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Therapist must be present in the building to receive guaranteed hours.
• Therapist required to follow company policies and procedures.
• Regional Director of Therapy will conduct interview.
• Therapist may cancel contract with two weeks’ notice, per client policy.
