Maryland Base Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 + Bonus + Partnership Opportunity

A respected Mid-Atlantic business law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Labor & Employment Attorney or Partner to join its expanding Labor & Employment practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned attorney who enjoys sophisticated legal work, meaningful client relationships, mentoring emerging talent, and playing an active role in the strategic growth of a practice group.

The Opportunity

As a senior member of the Labor & Employment group, you will serve as a trusted advisor to employers, executives, and business leaders on a broad spectrum of workplace and employment-related matters.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Lead sophisticated employment litigation and workplace dispute matters.
• Advise management teams and business leaders on critical employment and workforce issues.
• Counsel clients on risk management, compliance, and strategic employment decisions.
• Expand and help shape the future direction of the Labor & Employment practice.
• Mentor associates and junior attorneys while fostering professional development.
• Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, corporate, real estate, finance, and trusts & estates practices.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and firm leadership efforts.

• Employment litigation
• Restrictive covenant and non-compete disputes
• Executive employment agreements
• Employee relations counseling
• Wage and hour matters
• Workplace investigations
• Employment policies and handbooks
• Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
• Separation and severance agreements
• Employment compliance counseling
• Workforce risk management and preventive guidance

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Maryland Bar admission.
• Significant Labor & Employment law experience.
• Strong litigation and employment counseling background.
• Excellent writing, advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Interest in leadership, mentoring, and practice development.
• Portable business is welcomed but not required.
