WC Attorney for CA statewide firm Job Details Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year. We are in search of a seasoned Workers Compensation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that provides an exciting opportunity to handle complex workers compensation cases in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Represent clients in all aspects of workers compensation claims, including hearings, trials, settlements, and appeals. Conduct thorough and meticulous case research and analysis to develop effective legal strategies. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. Provide expert legal counsel to clients, explaining complex legal concepts and processes in clear, understandable terms. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the highest level of service to our clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in workers compensation law and regulations. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethics in all interactions. Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel in the best interest of the client. Advocate for the rights of workers, ensuring they receive the compensation they are entitled to under the law. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and good standing. Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers compensation law. Proven track record of successfully handling workers compensation cases from start to finish. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and statutes. Excellent negotiation skills, with the proven ability to reach favorable settlements for clients. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel. High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
