Position Description

For more than 33 years KLD Labs, Inc., has provided innovative machine vision solutions tailored for railway customers' monitoring, measurement, inspection, condition-based maintenance and asset management needs. We are looking to hire a Material Coordinator for our manufacturing production located in Hauppauge, NY. We are an equal opportunity employer in a stable industry. Responsibilities for our Material Coordinator include:
* Assist Planner in ensuring materials are present with each Job order released to production.
* Assist Production Supervisor in communicating material requirements.
* Assist Production Supervisor in organizing materials in order to meet production goals.
* Interface with Engineering as required to troubleshoot bill of material inaccuracies.
* Perform Cycle counts to ensure inventory counts in stock and Floor inventory are correct.
* While performing the duties of the job, the coordinator is regularly required to stand for an extended amount of time (when kitting).

Qualifications Required

* Bachelors or equivalent
*Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Experience with Microsoft Office.
* Strong teamwork, communication and decision-making skills.
* Proven ability to effectively manage changing/multiple priorities.
* Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications Desired
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
* Familiar with Deltek Costpoint
* Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining focus on objectives.
