We are seeking a Lead Physical Therapist to guide clinical excellence, mentor staff, and support high-quality patient care in our dynamic therapy department. Position Overview
- Provide direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment planning
- Lead and support a team of physical therapists and therapy assistants
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff
- Oversee daily therapy operations and assist with departmental planning
- Ensure adherence to best practices, documentation standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development efforts
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (required)
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain
- 3+ years of clinical experience in physical therapy (leadership or supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
