COTA - Travel Contract

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Santa Clara, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active California COTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and document patient progress in electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with ADL training, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommended.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Workdays: VMS work days include Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat; typical schedules referenced include Tues–Sat or Sun–Thu.
• Guaranteed weekly hours: 36.
• Candidate may need to float to other facilities as required by the client.
