We have a contract opportunity for a Special Education Teacher with expertise in Math and English Language Arts (ELA), starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. This position offers 30-32 hours per week and an engaging caseload of 10-12 students spanning K-12.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of SPED best practices, and a genuine passion for supporting diverse learners in both Math and ELA. Your support will empower students to reach academic milestones and experience school success.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Proven experience working in K-12 settings
• Solid background in Math and ELA instruction
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor instruction for individual learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction in Math and ELA to K-12 students on your caseload
• Create, implement, and monitor IEPs for each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Track student growth, adapting strategies as needed to promote success
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
