About the Role DHL eCommerce is seeking a Manager, Commercial Analytics to lead commercial and customer data analytics initiatives that drive strategic pricing decisions and business growth. This role is responsible for overseeing advanced analytics, customer profiling, piece-level data (PLD) analysis, and the development of reporting solutions that provide actionable insights across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership experience and a passion for transforming large datasets into meaningful business recommendations. This position will manage a team of analysts while partnering closely with Sales, Pricing, and Commercial leaders to support profitability, pricing strategy, Commercial IQ initiatives, and AI-driven analytical solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of PLD reporting solutions in Power BI. Ensure all PLD analyses meet established one-day turnaround service-level expectations. Support the annual General Rate Increase (GRI) process in partnership with Commercial and Pricing leadership to ensure accurate and seamless execution. Drive Commercial IQ initiatives and contribute to AI-enabled analytical solutions that support profitability monitoring and pricing decisions. Analyze large and complex commercial and customer datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights. Partner with Sales, Pricing, and Commercial teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring high-quality and accurate analytical outputs. Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and reporting improvements. Deliver customer-specific analyses and ad hoc reporting to support business needs. Monitor and maintain Power BI reporting environments to ensure reporting accuracy, system availability, and alignment with business requirements. Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. 5-8 years of progressive analytics experience, including significant team leadership experience. Demonstrated success leading analytical projects and leveraging data to drive business decisions. Preferred Education Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, MBA with an analytical focus, or a related discipline. Preferred Certifications Microsoft Power BI Certification Databricks Certifications Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications Technical Skills & Expertise Advanced data mining, modeling, and analytical skills. SQL (required) Microsoft Access (required) Microsoft Excel (required) Power BI Databricks Experience with: Strong knowledge of: SQL PySpark/Python DAX Power Query Experience developing scalable reporting and business intelligence solutions.
