This is an excellent opportunity for a Behavioral Health CNA / Mental Health Technician looking to work nights in one of California's most scenic regions. Located in the heart of Napa Valley, this assignment offers consistent scheduling, no call requirements, and hands-on behavioral health experience within an inpatient setting.

Role Focus

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support therapeutic programming, group activities, and patient safety checks
• Monitor and report behavioral or physical changes to nursing staff
• Participate in patient observation, documentation, and care planning
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis-management interventions as needed

Certifications

• BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required
• CPI or TEAM (crisis prevention / aggression management) - Required

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• CNA certification (Preferred)
• Behavioral Health or Mental Health experience (Preferred)
• Experience with crisis intervention or patient safety monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must meet all federal, state, and facility requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
