Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial plans. Monitor and review budget performance, identifying areas of concern and recommending corrective actions. Provide guidance on financial forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis. Cash Management and Capital Structure: Manage the organization's cash flow, working capital, and liquidity, ensuring optimal utilization of funds. Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders to secure financing and manage debt. Evaluate capital structure and make recommendations to optimize capital raising activities Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance. Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing risk management strategies and controls. Monitor changes in economic, market, and regulatory environments, adapting financial strategies accordingly. Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and cross-functional collaboration. Ensure the finance team operates with integrity, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior financial management role, preferably as a CFO or similar position. In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data and make informed decisions. Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Strong business acumen and the ability to align financial strategies with broader business objectives. Proficient in financial software and systems, with the ability to leverage technology for financial analysis and reporting.
