Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, assessing clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral states.

• Develop Interventions and Recovery Plans tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups to guide therapy sessions.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy discussions, promoting a safe and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize therapeutic outcomes and recovery.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create and implement intervention plans that address mental health challenges holistically.

• Provide essential follow-up with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding client care, particularly for those needing hospitalization.

• Identify potential risk factors and behaviors that may impede recovery, and employ proactive strategies to mitigate them.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in navigating the mental health challenges faced by their loved ones, enhancing their capacity to provide support.

The clients of Touchstone Psychotherapy Center encompass a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, and mental health challenges. You will work with individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document client progress and treatment plans effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

• In-depth understanding of prescribed psychotropic medications and their effects on mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus for successful candidates.
