Payroll Administrator
LHH has partnered with a growing organization in Waldwick, New Jersey in their search to hire a Payroll Administrator. This is a longer term consulting role with the opportunity to become permanent.
Location: Waldwick, New Jersey (100% on-site)
Type: Temp/Temp-to-Perm
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees across multiple tax entities.
- Ensure labor costs are accurately assigned to the appropriate job, project, and cost codes.
- Review payroll data for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll-related reporting.
- Support the Controller and accounting team with payroll administration and related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Prior payroll processing experience required.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with payroll or accounting software is a plus; training will be provided on an industry specific ERP system.
