Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and comprehensive pain assessments, considering individual and multifaceted factors such as physical, psychological, and social influences on pain.
• Design and implement personalized treatment strategies that may incorporate pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods, ensuring an evidence-based approach to pain management.
• Provide ongoing support for patients with chronic pain, working diligently to enhance their functionality, alleviate pain, and improve their overall health outcomes.
• Manage acute pain scenarios stemming from injury or surgical procedures, employing effective techniques to minimize discomfort and facilitate healing.
• Prescribe appropriate medications tailored to individual patient needs, monitoring response to treatment while remaining vigilant about potential risks and side effects.
• Perform and supervise interventional procedures such as nerve blocks and epidural injections, utilizing advanced techniques to provide substantial pain relief.
• Educate patients on effective pain management practices, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies, empowering them to play an active role in their health journey.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) to document patient assessments, treatment responses, and ongoing care plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Active state Physician Assistant license in good standing, demonstrating compliance with state regulations.

Compensation and Benefits
