Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients across a broad age range, often managing over 30 patients per day in a fast-paced setting.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring each patient receives personalized attention.
• Prescribe medications and design treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, considering the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and health maintenance, empowering them to take charge of their health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective treatment strategies, including timely referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records to ensure continuity of care and facilitate communication among healthcare providers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, actively engaging in patient satisfaction surveys and utilizing feedback to enhance service delivery.
• Stay abreast of recent medical developments and leverage evidence-based practices to continuously improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population of all ages who seek care for various acute and chronic health concerns. As a Physician Assistant in our Family Medicine team, you will encounter a wide spectrum of cases, from routine wellness exams to complex medical issues, allowing you to utilize your clinical expertise fully. Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license valid in Georgia.
• Candidates must hold the PA-C certification.
• A valid DEA number is required.
• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a closely related field is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a family or general medicine practice.

Compensation and Benefits
