Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center located in Macon, Georgia. This full-time position typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed patient assessments and gathering comprehensive medical histories to ensure accurate diagnoses are made and effective treatment plans are implemented.
• Working hand-in-hand with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and integrated healthcare solutions tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Performing essential physical examinations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and effectively analyzing results to inform optimal treatment strategies.
• Administering vaccinations and medications while providing patients with valuable education about preventive health measures and lifestyle choices that foster long-term wellness.
• Monitoring chronic health conditions and effectively coordinating referrals to specialty care providers when specialized treatment is necessary.
• Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions using the EPIC EMR system to maintain an accessible patient care record.
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives that elevate care standards and embracing the latest medical innovations and best practices.
• Fostering meaningful relationships with patients and their families by providing compassionate, responsive, and patient-focused care.
• Upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and hospital policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Family Practice Physician Assistant will serve a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adults, and seniors. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• Current Physician Assistant (PA) certification along with a valid state license is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
