DESCRIPTION

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York is seeking a creative, organized, and self-motivated part-time Marketing Associate to support the marketing , recruitment, communications, and social media efforts of both the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NYC) and Art of Acting Studio (LA). The position is Hybrid (2 days remote, 1 day in-person) Working under the direction of the Director of Artistic & Student Engagement, the Marketing Associate will assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns, digital communications, recruitment initiatives, social media, website content, advertising, and special events. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, collaborative, proactive, and excited to work in the performing arts and nonprofit sector. The successful candidate will bring strong communication and research skills, attention to detail, an understanding of current marketing practices and social media trends, and a genuine interest in arts administration. A cordial presence, sense of humor, and commitment to radical hospitality are essential. Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Artistic & Student Engagement with marketing and recruitment initiatives for both the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and Art of Acting Studio.
• Maintain and manage the marketing and recruitment calendar, ensuring projects and campaigns remain organized and on schedule.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email communications, newsletters, advertisements, and promotional initiatives.
• Manage and maintain both Studio websites, ensuring content is accurate, current, and engaging.
• Assist with website analytics and monitor performance and audience trends.
• Create, schedule, and manage social media content and campaigns across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Reddit, and others.
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to develop effective and engaging advertising, promotional materials, and collateral for Studio programs and events.
• Research new marketing, advertising, and recruitment opportunities and identify potential audiences and outreach partners.
• Research, compile, and maintain prospective student and audience leads and assist with database management and data entry.
• Track and evaluate marketing and advertising campaign performance and assist with analyzing data to inform future initiatives.
• Assist with student recruitment efforts, outreach campaigns, and recruitment events.
• Support communications and engagement efforts with the Studio’s extensive alumni community.
• Assist with writing and editing marketing materials, announcements, press releases, and other communications.
• Assist with the execution and promotion of special events and other Studio initiatives.
• Perform other marketing and administrative duties as needed.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in marketing, communications, social media, arts administration, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in either Marketing, Advertising, Arts Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Strong understanding of current marketing, advertising, digital communications, and social media practices.
• Proficiency with social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and Reddit.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and website content management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Experience with video editing is a plus.
• An interest in theater, the performing arts, and arts education is strongly preferred.
