Facility Maintenance Worker

As a Facility Maintenance Worker at Cornerstone of Rhinebeck, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our clients and staff. If you are a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
- Maintain a clean and organized facility, including common areas, rooms, and equipment
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables
- Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of high-touch areas and client living spaces
- Perform heavy manual labor, lifting a minimum of 50lbs, and standing for long periods of time
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance issues and concerns
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduation from a vocational or trade school in lieu of education, with experience in performing general or specialized maintenance and repair tasks
- Ability to communicate, read, and write English
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Must have a valid United States Driver's license and a clean DMV record for at least one year
