Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using both standardized tests and observational analysis.

Craft tailored treatment plans addressing both immediate and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.

Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.

Work in concert with an interdisciplinary team including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, and medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Provide educational support to patients and families to foster progress beyond the therapy setting.

Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring comprehensive care throughout the patient's journey.

Keep thorough and up-to-date records according to state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies.

Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with field advancements.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those who have not yet obtained ASHA certification.

Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-informed treatment methodologies for all age groups, with a firm grounding in developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills, effectively liaising with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Flexibility in adapting therapy approaches to cater to culturally diverse and bilingual populations.

Strong analytical and clinical reasoning capabilities.

Competency with electronic medical documentation protocols and standards.
