Assistant Restaurant Manager

The assistant manager role provides a training ground for restaurant management. As your leadership responsibilities expand, you will see how your influence impacts the business and your team's success. Partner with the Restaurant General Manager on success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals Ownership of the guest experience that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and hot & fresh meals Grow and mentor team through training and hiring Effectively communicate goals, promotions, business updates, etc Lead the overall positive and collaborate family environment May include ordering food and supplies May include preparing daily paperwork May include making daily deposits Employee on-the-job training Success Factors: Leads by example with high standards in customer service, cleanliness and quality Utilizes resources for effective training and development of team Builds a team through selecting and onboarding new hires Takes absolute pride in everything you do and KFC's values Goal-oriented leader that enjoys a fast-paced environment Values customer service and positively impacting our guest's experience Practices high quality food and cleanliness standards A smile and enthusiasm are required Some heavy lifting may be required (range 25-85 pounds) Extended standing Hearing in normal range must be present due to auditory alarms for some cooking equipment Cash handling and counting may be required Reading of menus, manuals and training aids required Manual dexterity in packing food containers and cleaning Ability to work with others in somewhat confined space Maintaining safety around high temperature equipment, boiling water and hot shortening Capable of maintaining the confidentiality of Company operating procedures and operating results Additional Info: If you need assistance in the application or hiring process to accommodate a disability, you may request an accommodation any time by contacting the location nearest you.
