Recruiting Operations Manager

BOS Staffing is seeking a Recruiting Operations Manager to lead our recruiting organization and drive the next stage of the company's growth. The role leads a distributed team of recruiters in the U.S. and offshore, with a mandate to build team capacity, raise delivery standards, and own operational accountability. The Operations Manager partners with ownership on growth strategy, headcount planning, and delivery capacity, ensuring recruiters in both locations have the structure, tools, and training to deliver. Team Leadership & Growth (Primary Focus) Lead the recruiting organization across U.S. and offshore teams, holding consistent execution and service standards in both locations. Forecast recruiting capacity against client demand and make the case to ownership for headcount before delivery is constrained. Coach, train, and develop recruiters on search strategy, candidate qualification, client communication, and performance. Set recruiter workflows, performance expectations, and accountability standards, and monitor workload, pipelines, and placement activity to catch risks early. Own hiring, onboarding, and retention for the recruiting team. Partner with the Sales Manager to keep new business commitments aligned with recruiting capacity — translating the sales forecast into sourcing priorities, running a clean job-order intake and handoff process, and holding a recurring pipeline review. Stay personally involved in a limited number of high-priority searches — strategic accounts, executive roles, and escalations. Act as a player-coach: join intake and calibration calls, review submissions, and step into sourcing, screening, or negotiation when a search is at risk or the team is at capacity. Process, Systems & Reporting Own and improve recruiting processes end to end — intake, screening, submission quality, offer management, and documentation standards. Keep ATS/CRM data clean and accurate, run regular data-quality reviews, and coach the team on documentation expectations. Build and manage reporting on recruiter activity and business outcomes: submissions, interviews, offers, starts, and gross margin. Maintain SOPs and training materials and adopt technology and AI tools responsibly to improve speed and consistency without displacing recruiter judgment. Client Service & Business Support Protect and strengthen client relationships through responsive communication, realistic expectations, and quality delivery. Join client meetings, intake calls, and business reviews, bringing market, compensation, and candidate-availability insight. Support business development through referrals, networking, and new staffing opportunities, and represent BOS Staffing in the market. What Do You Bring? 8+ years in staffing, recruiting, talent acquisition, or agency operations; 12+ years strongly preferred. Demonstrated success leading a team of recruiters, built on personal experience running a full-cycle desk. Experience coaching and training recruiters, including remote, distributed or offshore teams across time zones. Track record of scaling a recruiting team through a growth period without losing delivery quality. Strong direct-hire and/or contract staffing background — sourcing, screening, client management, and offer negotiation. Advanced sourcing skills and fluency with ATS/CRM systems and recruiting metrics. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and discretion handling confidential information. Specialized recruiting experience — legal, professional, sales, accounting/finance, construction, or mortgage — preferred. What Tools Will You Work With? The successful candidate will: Lead the team to consistently meet placement and gross-margin goals. Ensure timely, high-quality pipelines and strong candidate and client experiences. Improve recruiter consistency, candidate quality, and search execution, with reliable ATS/CRM data and reporting. Hire, train, and retain recruiters in the U.S. and offshore, growing capacity ahead of client demand.
