OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Palm Springs, CA Position Details - Full-time employed position- Approximately 7-8, 24-hour in-house shifts per month ( 2,190 hours annually)- Option for reduced schedule: 5.5, 24-hour shifts per month ( 1,560 hours annually) - benefit eligible- No traditional call (in-house model)- 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24/7 - never solo coverage- Practice averages 60 deliveries per month- 387-bed tertiary acute care facility- Only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley- 30-bed Level III NICU (23 weeks and above)- Affiliated MFM and neonatology support- Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students- Residency within immediate local area required- Not accepting locums- Not accepting visa candidates Clinical Responsibilities - Delivery attendance- OB triage- Patient evaluation and management- Surgical assists- Fetal monitoring- ER coverage- MFM performs rounds and inpatient consults for high-risk patients Compensation & Benefits - $150/hour ($328,500 annually for full-time schedule)- Additional bonus potential (full-time)- Permanent placement fee: $25,000- Relocation assistance (if applicable)- Medical, dental, and vision insurance- Prescription coverage- Teledoc services- HSA and FSA options- 401K Thrift and Profit Sharing Plan- Life insurance with supplemental options- Critical illness, hospital, and accident insurance- 8 weeks paid parental leave- Bereavement leave- Short-term and long-term disability- Identity theft protection- Employee assistance program- Extensive employee perks program Requirements - Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in OB/GYN- Active California license or willingness to obtain- OB Hospitalist experience preferred- Current NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required at presentation- DEA required prior to start- Must indicate:- Full-time or part-time interest- Current residence or willingness to relocate- Confirmation no visa support required Position Summary - Specialty: OB/GYN Hospitalist- Setting: Inpatient, 24-hour in-house shifts- Schedule: 7-8 shifts/month (full-time) or 5.5 shifts/month (reduced)- Location: Palm Springs, California- Employment Type: Permanent
