Order Management Specialist

Beltservice Corporation has an immediate opening for an Order Management Specialist on 1st shift (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). The Order Management Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing, release, and maintenance of customer and production orders throughout the manufacturing process.This role serves as a critical link between Sales, Production, Planning, Customer Service, and Supply Chain by resolving order issues, maintaining system integrity, supporting ERP processes, and facilitating communication that enables on-time delivery and exceptional customer service. We measure success in this role through a variety of indicators, including: 1) production order accuracy, 2) on-time order release, 3) reduction in order-related production disruptions, 4) ERP data integrity, 5) timely resolution of order issues, 6) support of on-time customer shipments, and 7) continuous improvement participation and implementation. Responsibilities & Duties Order Processing & Management Monitor and manage the Order Management mailbox, order tracking systems, and associated workflows. Review, release, andmaintainconfigured production orders to ensureaccurateBills of Material (BOMs), routings, material requirements, and production requirements. Create, revise, and manage production order change requests as customer or operational needs evolve. Make necessary corrections to sales orders and production orders tomaintain system and production accuracy. Issue andmaintainsub-production orders asrequired. Ensure order configuration accuracy and resolve system-related order issues prior to production release. Production Scheduling & Support Coordinate with Planning, Scheduling, and Production teams to identify and resolve order-related constraints affecting delivery performance. Monitor priority and late orders, communicate status updates, and coordinate recovery plans to support on-time shipment goals. Obtain revised production dates when necessary and communicate updates to Sales and Customer Service teams. Assistwith order prioritization activities that support efficient manufacturing flow and customer commitments. Investigate production challenges that originate from order configuration, master data, scheduling, or ERP system processes. ERP & Process Administration Serve as a subject matter resource for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) order management processes. Support ERP user training, troubleshooting, and process adoption efforts across Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Planning teams. Assistwithnew itemcreation, master data maintenance, and data integrity initiatives. Identifyopportunities to improve system functionality, workflow efficiency, and process standardization. Participate in testing and implementation of system enhancements and process improvements. Cross-Functional Support Act as the primary liaison between Sales and Operations for order-related issues. Coordinate communication among stakeholders to ensuretimelyresolution of customer and production concerns. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, cost reduction, and operational effectiveness. Prepare reports, metrics, and analyses that support decision-making and order flow visibility. Qualifications Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing, production planning, order management, customer service, or supply chain functions. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, BOM structures, and production routing concepts. Ability to develop Beltservice product and manufacturing knowledge rapidly.
