Financial Analyst (Healthcare)

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Position: Full Time - Financial Analyst

• Location: Stamford, CT
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 (Depending on Education & Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains and reports out of the Research Center accounting system.
• Develops, maintains, and reports financial analytics for key service lines using various sources and software.
• Assists in budget process for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Creates worksheets, identifies data sources and gathers information from and for departments.
• Analyzes data, identifies variances and provides reports for management review. Meets timeframes for producing monthly and annual financial reports for assigned areas.
• Maintains reports generated for historical and budget comparisons, trending and analysis.
• Develops new or revised reports using Meditech report writer, Excel and/or SQL database to provide management with the information necessary to support organizational growth and development.
• Is responsible for drafting and executing Professional Service Addendums for principal investigators.
• Utilizes MCA billing grid and CDM to develop budgets for all items and services.
• Coordinates the negotiation and execution of study agreements and Principal Investigator Serie Agreements with legal counsel and external sponsors of research trials

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• Proven experience in the financial industry.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
• Proven leadership abilities.
• Deep understanding of the financial system and institutions.
