HVAC Service Manager

As an authorized dealer for major air conditioning brands, the company repairs and services a wide variety of systems with emphasis on reliable service, quality workmanship, and accessible support. Role Role Description The Heating, Air Conditioning, Generator Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Jupiter, FL. This role oversees day-to-day HVAC and generator service operations, including scheduling and dispatching technicians, monitoring job progress, and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met. The Operations Manager coordinates maintenance and repair activities for heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and generator systems, and works closely with customers to clarify service needs and resolve issues promptly. The role includes supervising field and support staff, optimizing workflows, managing inventory and equipment readiness, and supporting sales efforts by identifying service opportunities and ensuring follow-through. The Operations Manager also tracks key performance metrics, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and helps maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day HVAC and generator service operations, including scheduling and dispatching technicians, monitoring job progress, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and generator systems. Supervise field and support staff, optimize workflows, and manage inventory and equipment readiness. Support sales efforts by identifying service opportunities and ensuring follow-through. Track key performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution. Qualifications Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and handle escalations professionally. Hands-on experience or solid working knowledge in HVAC systems and Plumbing, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and coordination of repair activities. Comfort with Sales-related activities, such as presenting service options, supporting estimates, and identifying opportunities for system upgrades or preventive maintenance plans. Proven operations or team management experience in an HVAC, mechanical, or related service environment, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations. Ability to work on-site in Jupiter, FL, and collaborate effectively with technicians, office staff, and leadership. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in HVAC and generator operations. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is preferred.
