What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Real Estate Remodel PMD oversees the remodel program for numerous stores each year, managing a significant portfolio of projects across an entire business unit. This role acts as the primary liaison between operations leadership and project teams, ensuring each remodel is delivered with the appropriate scope, accurate scheduling, and sound budget planning. The position is pivotal in aligning internal and external stakeholders, driving project success, and supporting Walmart's digital and growth initiatives. What you'll do

1. Lead the end-to-end management of the Remodel Program, overseeing multiple store projects annually and maintaining an active portfolio of ongoing remodels.
2. Serve as the main point of contact for Operations leadershipranging from Store Managers to Regional Vice Presidentsensuring project alignment with business goals.
3. Guide architects and civil engineers, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable for deliverables.
4. Coordinate with internal business units to manage all aspects of project scope, schedule, and budget.
5. Conduct hands-on data analysis and maintain direct communication with stakeholders across multiple, non-integrated systems.
6. Act as the critical link between field teams, Home Office associates, and external professionals for Remodels and Special Projects nationwide.
7. Influence and align diverse groups toward shared objectives, resolving complex issues with agility.
8. Analyze cost, scheduling, and permitting challenges, and guide implementation strategies to meet evolving business needs.
9. Ensure project readiness for permitting, bidding, and possession, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
10. Maintain a standardized and balanced workload as project volume increases across business units.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, project management, or related area, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years' experience in commercial real estate project management, construction management, or facilities design. Experience managing capital improvement projects, including design coordination, permitting, contractor oversight, and budget management. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with combined capital budgets.
