Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will support the company’s accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. This role requires a detailoriented and motivated professional with strong organizational and analytical skills. The position reports directly to the Controller and will be a key contributor to the Finance team. Key Responsibilities: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, and account reconciliations. Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with GAAP. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing and collections. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Support audit processes, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests. Collaborate with other Finance team members on financial reporting and analysis. Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls. Support ad-hoc projects as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public company environment. Strong understanding of GAAP principles. Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to corporate reporting.
