Financial AnalystHouston, Texas, United StatesPosition SummaryOur client is looking for a full-time Financial Analyst (FA) based in our Houston office. The FA will be responsible for supporting the company's strategic goals and objectives as a key member within the Corporate Planning, Business Development and Treasury groups. In addition to assisting with Beacon's corporate planning and treasury management, the FA will contribute to a broad array of financial business including risk management (hedging), debt compliance, and transactional analysis.What You Will Be DoingCreation and management of financial models/analyses, including but not limited to project and cost performance, asset evaluation, financial covenant and ratio analysis, and transaction driven analysesPreparation of periodic financial reports and analysis for Management and Board of ManagersPerform research on industry and asset-level trendsAssist in contract analysis and debt complianceCoordinate efforts in response to investor information requestsContribute to a work environment that is consistent with Beacon's valuesWhat You Will NeedBS degree in business, finance, engineering, accounting or economicsAnalytical thinker with 1-3 years of work experience in the oil & gas industry; investment banking, corporate planning, transaction advisory or Big Four accounting experience highly preferredStrong familiarity with financial models and analysisVery proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelA strong work ethic and a positive attitude suited to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong organizational and process management skills, with keen attention to detailAbility to prioritize deliverables and flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines
