Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. This contract position is situated in the New Orleans area, specifically Metairie, LA, running from early August 2026 through late May 2027.

Key responsibilities include delivering speech therapy services to students through teletherapy platforms, collaborating with educational staff, and maintaining thorough documentation to support student progress. The caseload and specific age groups will be determined closer to the start date.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience or comfort with delivering telespeech and teletherapy services
• Ability to complete district-specific credentialing and HR documentation as required

The role offers a 35-hour workweek, with 7-hour workdays including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Details such as the exact number of schools assigned and student caseload will be provided upon placement confirmation.
