Although your primary work will be conducted online, you will also have access to our outpatient office in Lakewood, allowing for in-person sessions if preferred or when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a positive and trusting rapport with patients, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for therapy.

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, tailoring interventions to each client's specific circumstances.

• Perform ongoing assessments to evaluate patient progress and adapt therapy techniques as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Facilitate sessions that may include group therapy dynamics, addressing the needs of patients collectively to foster peer support.

• Refer clients to additional specialists when appropriate, ensuring that they receive the holistic care necessary for their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient demographic is diverse, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and various family dynamics. Many of our clients may also deal with issues related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, which allows our LMFTs to apply their training in addiction counseling. Your expertise will be vital to helping these individuals and families navigate emotional challenges and foster healthier lifestyles through informed therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
