Staff Accountant

Overview The Futren Hospitality is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations across multiple entities. Responsibilities Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes including review of weekly invoices, preparation of weekly operating statements, payroll processing, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statements; provide backup support to the Accounting Assistants. Perform heavy data entry, maintain various account records, and exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily tasks. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent data entry with an eye for detail Self-directed, results-oriented work style with the ability to anticipate and avoid problems High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail Poise and well-groomed appearance to meet company standards Ability to lift heavy boxes up to 50 pounds Education, Experience, and Training Accounting Degree is required (Associates or Bachelor’s). Minimum of 2 years in accounting field. Hospitality/private club experience preferred. Ability to multitask, detail oriented, excellent computer software skills (Jonas and Sage HRMS software a plus), self-motivation, and ability to set priorities and meet various deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
