We hire the best and the brightest from across the country – constructing a team of experts in architecture, design, engineering, project management, and business services.A Day in the LifeAssist in reconciling balance sheet accounts monthly and investigating discrepancies.Assist controllers in preparing and monitoring overhead budgets.Work extensively in Microsoft Excel, with spreadsheets with complex formulas and Power Query.Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns for various local and state entities.Work with controllers and project managers to obtain and renew the appropriate state and local contractor and business licenses.Prepare, post, and reconcile a wide range of journal entries, including job cost accruals and adjustments, ensuring accurate cost allocations, proper period recognition, and overall alignment with company financials.Work with controllers throughout the month end close process, supporting the preparation and review of financial statements for multiple entities.Performs other related duties as assigned.Necessary QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance1-3 years of related experience.Public accounting experience a plus but not required.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft ExcelExperience with Vista/ Viewpoint Software is a plusExcellent written and spoken communication skills.Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure and strict deadlines.We are proud to be one of the fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in America, celebrating over 30 years of experience as design-build experts.
