IT Service Desk Agent

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in Miami, FL is seeking an IT Service Desk Agent to provide first level IT support for all end-users via telephone, email or chat.Main responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and voice/data communication systems issues
• Escalating calls when appropriate
• Writing concise, informative service tickets and following up on all tickets in a timely manner, while pursuing issues through to resolution

Skills

• Years of Experience: 1-2
• This role requires experience using ticketing systems and writing technical support reports and documentation
• Agent must possess broad knowledge and proficiency with popular operating systems, application software, desktop and laptop computers, printers and networks
• Basic understanding of technology standards
• Ability to perform routine work assignments
• Proficient in basic troubleshooting of IT issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to recognize and escalate issues appropriately

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
