Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon their initial visit, establishing baseline metrics and understanding their specific needs and goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based approaches, manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise regimens, and modalities suitable for each patient's specific condition.

• Continually monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Provide education to patients and their families on injury prevention, postoperative care, and exercises to promote ongoing wellness and mobility, ensuring they have the tools for a successful rehabilitation journey.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, facilitating effective communication about patient care and progress.

• Maintain precise, up-to-date documentation in accordance with clinic policies and legal requirements, ensuring the highest standards of patient confidentiality and care.

• Engage in professional development by staying informed on advancements in physical therapy methods, technologies, and best practices through workshops and continuous education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include working with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. You will adapt your treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of individuals, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment where patients feel encouraged and motivated in their recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. New graduates with relevant clinical rotations are also encouraged to apply.

• Proficient in therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques suitable for a variety of conditions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate patients and their families.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pelvic health physical therapy is a plus.

• Certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or therapies are highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
