Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will carry out a range of essential duties, including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their mobility limitations and physical health status.
• Designing and implementing customized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Employing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, to promote recovery.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes through ongoing assessment.
• Providing education to patients and their families on self-care techniques and strategies for injury prevention to promote long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; additional credentials (Doctorate or Master's Degree) preferred.
• A current or eligible license to practice Physical Therapy in Nevada.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation methodologies.
• Superb communication skills complemented by efficient time management abilities.
• Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is desirable, with a willingness to pursue this credential if not yet obtained.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques or dry needling will be highly regarded.
