Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Spring Creek, NV. Our innovative environment encourages collaboration and communication among the therapy team. You will enjoy a supportive atmosphere where your clinical expertise is valued, and your ideas can guide treatment approaches. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities to accurately assess their needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implement and provide skilled therapy services including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities tailored to individual requirements.
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patients' progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational and speech therapists, to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care.
• Instruct and educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and safe techniques for everyday activities.
• Design and implement fall prevention strategies and safety measures specific to the assisted living community's environment.
• Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in physical therapy practice through ongoing education and professional development.
• Adhere to ethical standards and professionalism in all aspects of patient care, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on geriatric patients, who often require specialized care and rehabilitation to counteract the effects of aging and to improve their overall health. You will engage with clients facing common age-related physical challenges, fostering their independence and enhancing their quality of life. Each interaction will be vital in establishing trust, understanding, and delivering personalized care that respects their history and dignity.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active State licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to effectively engage with patients and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and excellent documentation skills are essential.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and the ability to implement current therapeutic techniques into patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Move Ease Therapies offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
