Pharmacist - Nashville, TN

A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to support their team with prescription verification and medication safety. This role offers a structured, consistent schedule from Monday through Friday, providing an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who prefer evening shifts with no on-call responsibilities.


Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Conduct final verification of prescriptions, ensuring medication accuracy and correctness of directions
• Verify prescription information against hard copy documents to maintain compliance and patient safety
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system efficiently, without automation support

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
• Experience with prescription verification and medication dispensing accuracy
• Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems, preferably Wellsky
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently and manage high volume prescription processing (approximately 1,000 prescriptions per day)
