About the role and the ward 2F and 7W VEM provide specialist care for patients who have experienced a stroke or are living with a range of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, MND and Parkinson's disease. In this role, you will care for patients following Endovascular Clot Retrieval (ECR), support individuals admitted for Video EEG Monitoring (VEM), and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care for a diverse neurological patient population. The Alfred offers a fully integrated range of services and treatment modalities onsite, from diagnosis and acute management through to rehabilitation and supportive care, providing an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in neurology nursing. Responsibilities As a clinical nurse you will establish and evaluate patient care plans in partnership with patients, carers and the health care team. You will build therapeutic relationships, demonstrate patient‑centred care, trust and respect, and ensure accountability for delivering high‑quality care within the multidisciplinary setting. Experience and qualifications required Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA. Interest in Neuroscience nursing.
