OFFICE & HOSPITALITY MANAGER

*********(Part-time position to start, but will evolve to full-time in 2027)***********

Dennis Point Marina & Campground is a unique property with 121 RV & camp sites, 81 deep water boat slips, rental cabins, private rental houses, a full-service boatyard, a restaurant, a pool, and recreational trails.

We are seeking an outgoing, organized, personable, detail-oriented and hospitality focused manager to join our unique organization. You will coordinate various tasks and functions to ensure operations run smoothly while interacting with campers, boaters, visitors, other employees, and management. You will also be the lead on project wide hospitality, from guest relations to event programming and execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests to the and assist them with various needs including reservations, payments, tourist information, ship store sales, fuel sales, service requests, safety information, and other general questions via in-person and on the phone.
  • Assist with check-in/out and manage marina and campground reservations.
  • Manage ship store inventory
  • Ensure a positive guest experience. ·
  • Perform general bookkeeping duties as assigned in collaboration with on-site accountant.
  • Attend team meetings and, if applicable, training sessions.
  • Report any updates or pertinent issues concerning guests, systems, grounds and accommodations that need addressing to the general manager.
  • Uphold and carry out company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with other team members on all rentals, yard services, maintenance and wet slip & land storage matters.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma ·
  • Previous hospitality/customer service experience preferred. ·
  • Most duties are performed in an office setting however, some duties may be outdoors and potentially in adverse weather conditions and near waterways. ·
  • Computer literate, proficient using Microsoft Suite and comfortable with use of reservation and bookkeeping software platforms. ·
  • Experience using machinery (fax, printer, copier, phone systems, etc.) ·
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills. ·
  • Must be willing to work some weekends in season.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
