FOOD ADMINISTRATOR I (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY)

Job Overview This role is Food Administrator I located at North Kern State Prison (NKSP) in Delano, Kern County, California. The position is permanent, full‑time with a salary range of $7,546.00 to $9,448.00 per month. Key Responsibilities Under the direction of the Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, the Food Administrator I plans, organizes, and directs all food service and dietary activities at the Correctional Treatment Center, including the therapeutic diet program in the institution. Minimum Requirements The minimum requirements for this position are described in the Class Specification. Desirable Qualifications Registered Dietitian credential required. Additional education and experience related to food service, dietetic practice, or correctional health services is desirable. Working Conditions Travel may be required. The position is performed on‑site in the prison environment.
