Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and create tailored treatment plans that utilize best practices and solution-focused interventions. For example, engage clients with specific emotional and behavioral challenges to develop personalized strategies for improvement.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches, adapting each to your clients' individual needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency standards, ensuring that all client interactions are properly recorded and monitored for quality assurance.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance skill sets and improve the quality of care delivered, actively sharing insights and learning from peers.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, informing them about mental health issues and linking them to community resources that can foster their recovery and holistic well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on individuals undergoing detox and experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse client base that requires tailored interventions, employing empathy and respect to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical social work experience is required, demonstrating the ability to conduct assessments and manage complex treatment plans.
