As a Kitchen Manager, provides leadership for the daily operation of the UCCC kitchen and ensures children receive healthy, nourishing, creative, and developmentally appropriate meals and snacks. This role manages the kitchen environment, prepares and/or oversees food production for approximately 12 classrooms and 130 children daily.Our Company:Youth In Need has been around since 1974 helping to create safe places for the area's most vulnerable children. We are nationally recognized by the US Department of Health and Human Services as an exemplary program. This Position:We are interested in a Kitchen Manager with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must obtain/maintain Servsafe Manager certification and other required food safety certification within the required timeframe. Cooking in a childcare setting is preferred. Ability to be CPR certified and First Aid certified required. Drivers license is required, local travel required, and must be insurable under Youth In Need auto liability coverage.
