Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing both structured tools and clinical judgment to ascertain patient needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies tailored to individual client goals. Examples include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Provide therapeutic interventions through individual sessions, couples counseling, and group therapy, guiding clients towards recovery and sustainable coping strategies.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups that offer support, education, and community building around common mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and fellow team members to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient.

• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and interventions to patients in distress.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, promoting self-advocacy and self-management.

• Maintain comprehensive, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records of treatment plans and progress.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with an adult population facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Your role is critical in providing both therapeutic support and practical coping strategies that enhance their quality of life. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you ensure that each client's unique experiences and backgrounds are respected in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution, holding applicable licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).

• Understanding of various mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Strong capability and experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to diverse populations.
