Work Environment\n

This role will be performed in a remote setting, allowing you the flexibility to provide therapeutic services from your home while maintaining a high standard of care. You will engage in virtual case consultations and participate in online meetings with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is a key priority, and you can expect a structured schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand clients’ experiences with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Create personalized treatment plans that meet each client’s unique needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring to apply evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed to support their growth and well-being.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, promoting effective coping mechanisms.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals, ensuring integrated care for clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research and trends in mental health treatment to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in professional development opportunities, case consultations, and team meetings to continuously improve your skills.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs while actively working to destigmatize mental health issues in our communities.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active California state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
