Lead Software Engineer - Privileged Access Mgmt

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect 5+ years of applied software engineering experience, ideally with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• We require hands-on experience in privilege access management, with tools such as HashiCorp, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust.
• We look for practical delivery experience across system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We need experience with at least one public cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We require strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python.
• We expect demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including setting expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• We require a solid understanding of responsible AI practices in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resilient delivery standards.
• We need proficiency across the software development life cycle.
• We expect advanced knowledge of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We value in-depth knowledge of financial services technology and strong cloud-native experience.
• We require experience in security domains such as infrastructure, network, or application security, along with architecture expertise across application, data, and infrastructure.
• We look for experience with Kubernetes and familiarity with DevOps and automation tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, Git, and Bitbucket.
• We value exposure to MQ, web service concepts, REST services, XML, and JSON.
• We welcome exposure to languages and frameworks such as Golang, Java, Spring Boot, React, and Kafka.
• We value exposure to SIEM tools such as QRadar or Splunk, and to LDAP, Active Directory, and ADFS.
• AWS certifications are preferred.

• We design, build, and troubleshoot creative software solutions that go beyond routine approaches.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We drive adoption of enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational results.
• We apply software development lifecycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase automation value.
• We identify opportunities to eliminate recurring issues or automate remediation to strengthen operational stability.
• We lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architecture, technical fit, and integration potential.
• We design and develop privileged access management solutions that strengthen organizational security and align with identity governance and access management standards.
• We deploy and coordinate security solutions while providing level 3 support for day-to-day issues.
• We provide technical leadership, consultation, and subject matter expertise to vendors, suppliers, and end users.
• We partner with stakeholders to identify solutions, run proof-of-concepts for new integrations, secure sign-off, and guide testing of new functionality.
• We write technical documentation for production support teams and serve as the point of contact for new implementations.
• We analyze business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams from design through implementation and day-2 support.
