Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician

Ensure the decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of medical instruments
Adhere to infection control protocols throughout the processing cycle
Inspect and test sterilization equipment and processes
Package and prepare surgical instruments for distribution
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment
